GLORY 103: Last Heavyweight Standing – This Is One You Don’t Want to Miss!

On August 23, 2025, Rotterdam Ahoy will once again become the battleground for the world’s best kickboxers at GLORY 103: Last Heavyweight Standing. This spectacular event marks the start of phase two in the brand-new and highly anticipated tournament to crown GLORY’s ultimate heavyweight king.
With a main event between heavyweight superstars Levi Rigters and Jamal Ben Saddik, a welterweight title fight, and a card stacked with heated matchups, GLORY 103 is already one of the most talked-about events of the year. Let’s dive into the storylines, rivalries, and the meaning of this night for the fight world.
The Tournament: Last Heavyweight Standing – Phase Two
GLORY 103 marks the beginning of phase two of the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament. A total of sixteen heavyweights enter knockout-style competition. The eight winners move on to the next stage, where two four-man tournaments will decide who advances to the grand finale at the end of the year.
Every win counts. Every mistake can be fatal. No second chances, no excuses. Just pure elimination bouts where strength, endurance, and mentality will make the difference.
Main Event: Levi Rigters vs. Jamal Ben Saddik
In the headline fight of the night, fans get a true clash of titans. Levi Rigters (19-3, 9 KO) – the tall, technical Dutchman with crisp combinations and intelligent ring control – takes on none other than Jamal Ben Saddik (38-10, 29 KO), the Moroccan powerhouse with explosive knockout power.
Rigters, once dubbed The Prince of Kickboxing, now faces perhaps the biggest test of his career. Known for his precision, use of reach, and tempo, he’ll need answers for the brute force of Ben Saddik, who has racked up 29 knockouts in his 38 wins, storming through the division like a wrecking ball.
This fight is more than just a matchup — the winner moves a step closer to the throne of the heavyweight division.
Co-Main Event: Chico Kwasi Defends His Title
Another highlight of the evening is the title defense of Chico Kwasi (44-5-2, 23 KO), proudly representing Joyagear. He faces the dangerous and unbeaten Mehdi Ait El Hadj (35-4-2, 8 KO), who has built a flawless 4-0 record in GLORY so far.
Kwasi, famous for his relentless pace, pressure combinations, and iron defense, knows he’ll need everything against such a technically gifted challenger. With 23 knockouts, Chico didn’t become champion by accident. His will to dominate, coupled with his big-fight experience, makes him the favorite in this showdown. As a proud Joyagear fighter, we watch with both excitement and confidence.
Rivalry With an Edge: Don Sno vs. Tayfun Ozcan
One of the most heated fights on the card features Don Sno (6-2, 3 KO) and Tayfun Ozcan (87-11-3, 28 KO). Both are well-known names in the Dutch fight scene and have been exchanging sharp words online in the lead-up.
Sno, another proud Joyagear athlete, is determined to keep his momentum. But facing the experienced Ozcan is no small task. Tayfun is known for his technical craft, fight IQ, and brutal low kicks. Still, Sno cannot be underestimated. This fight is about more than points or knockouts — it’s about pride, reputation, and the right to be called Rotterdam’s fighter.
Iancu vs. Opacic: Knockout Alert
When Ionut Iancu (31-11, 13 KO) and Rade Opacic (21-7, 16 KO) collide, fireworks are guaranteed. With nearly 30 knockouts between them, fans will wonder if this bout will even make it past the first round.
Opacic, the towering Serbian, brings youth, size, and raw power. Iancu, the veteran, brings experience, pressure, and savvy. This could easily become the Fight of the Night.
Monster Clash: Khachab vs. Azizpour
Another heavyweight showdown sees fan favorite Nabil Khachab (29-6-1, 4 KO) face Iranian giant Iraj Azizpour (71-8, 28 KO). Azizpour is a respected name worldwide, with more than 70 wins and 28 knockouts, and poses a threat to anyone in the division.
Khachab, however, has the home crowd behind him. With smart strategies, agility, and explosiveness, he has all the tools to pull off a big win. This is one fight you don’t want to miss.
Cvjeticanin vs. George: Pure Power
Milos Cvjeticanin (13-4, 9 KO) and Colin George (24-13, 22 KO) promise a battle of sheer power. George, known as The Man Mountain, has 22 knockouts in 24 wins. Cvjeticanin is more compact but deadly effective. In this one, every strike could be the last.
The Return of a Sensation: Mory Kromah
One of the most talked-about moments of GLORY 100 was Mory Kromah’s (34-3-1, 20 KO) stunning win over Bahram Rajabzadeh. The performance went viral and caught the eyes of The Rock, Snoop Dogg, and Anthony Joshua. Now he returns to face Cristian Ristea (44-26, 13 KO), also known as The Gladiator.
Kromah has everything to become a global star: power, charisma, and a can’t-miss fight style. Against Ristea, he’ll be tested — but one thing is certain, the crowd will be on the edge of their seats.
GLORY 103: A Night That Will Make History
With so many big names, heated rivalries, and high-stakes tournament implications, GLORY 103: Last Heavyweight Standing is a can’t-miss event. For kickboxing fans, this is the night where legends are born, careers take turns, and dreams either vanish or come true.
